OmniTAINER Portable Tanks
TheOmniTAINER™ Portable Tank is an intermodal tank container approved for road and rail transport of Dangerous Goods. It is available in a range of volumes, specific to given transport needs. TheOmniTAINER™ includes a specially developed fire protection system which has been tested at the BAM Test Site Technical Safety facility in Germany and passes the European ADR and RID full engulfment fire test requirements. OmniTAINER™is currently approved with a test pressure of 4 bar.
The OmniTAINER™ holds CSC and Dynamic Longitudinal Rail Impact Test Approvals. OmniTAINER™ can be supplied as T7 (bottom outlet) and T10 (top discharge) tanks, approved under a 49 CFR Special Permit in USA, and ADG7 in Australia. OmniTAINER™ is ADR and RID approved as L4BH (bottom outlet) and L4DH (top discharge).
OmniTAINER™ is suitable for transporting high purity chemicals such as Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonium Hydroxide without contamination of these cargoes. They are also suitable for transport of aggressive corrosive Class 8 chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid, Sulphuric Acid, Ferric Chloride, Ferrous Chloride, Hydrofluoric Acid, Hydrofluorosilisic Acid, Nitric Acid, and Phosphoric Acid without degradation of the liner.
The OmniTAINER™ contains the highly engineered and patented composite material combination including the OmniSHIELD™, OmniBIND™ and OmniFORT™ product systems.
The OmniSHIELD polyethylene interior is specifically designed to provide high chemical resistance to composite tanks and is a revolution in corrosion barrier technology, creating a seamless and low stress polymer interior. The OmniBIND overcomes challenges associated with joining thermoplastics to thermoset composites, providing a strong and durable connection. The OmniFORT carbon fibre composite delivers a high strength and lightweight structure.
Tanks can be equipped with the Omni Tanker seamless Mould in Baffle (MIB) technology which meets dangerous goods portable tank regulations allowing the tanks to operate at any fill level for added security and longevity.
OmniTAINER™ is the revolutionary lighter, safer, and more durable transport tank for high purity and corrosive chemicals.
